Baldur is a beautiful animal with strong morphology and a solid character and temperament. He is outgoing, social, stable, and at the same time, very close to his people. Baldur possesses a solid "working dog" temperament and a good work ethic. He is easygoing at home and easy to handle, yet in the field, he has an excellent focus on work and training. He has a very good food and toy drive and is currently training and working in Mantrailing (search for lost persons) and Cavage (Truffle Hunting). Once he is in the game, he is in it to win it. He thrives in a team that has a deep trust-based relationship built on fairness and aims to please. He is also a very sportive dog who loves to play and craves his hander's interaction and approval. Baldur's strengths are in his endurance and tracking capabilities, however, he is versatile in terms of his suitability for protection sport or personal/family protection. He is a highly motivated dog and an absolute pleasure to live and work with. He is great around small children and other animals. Baldur possesses some of Europe's finest FCI DS genetics. He is the product of generations of hard work through the collective hands of many diligent and passionate breeders.
